Timber flooring, laid to last.

Engineered and solid wood, fitted and finished properly.

Oak boards with a high-gloss finish through a beamed restaurant dining room in Exeter, with green banquette seating along the wall

Moisture first, boards second.

Timber moves with moisture, so a good timber floor starts below the boards. Our installers fit engineered and solid timber with the moisture testing, acclimatisation and subfloor preparation the material demands, then finish to specification.

We'll be straight with you about where timber is the right choice and where an LVT alternative will serve the space better for the budget.

What a proper timber install involves.

  1. Test the subfloor for moisture before any timber goes down.
  2. Acclimatise the boards in the space they will live in.
  3. Prepare the subfloor for a flat, sound and stable base.
  4. Finish the floor to the manufacturer's and designer's specification.
